Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on 25th November 1968 in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer that was acknowledged for her contribution in American television. The actress has made famous due to her portrayals as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order and Crossing Jordan. Hennessy showed her talent in independent films including Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988 when she and her twin sister were the Callgirls on Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Then in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she was Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following fall year, she joined the crew of the NBC popular crime show Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. This character captivated viewers for three seasons before she resigned in 1996. Parker is famous for her role in films or series, as well as TV shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side as well as The West Wing Angels of America. Parker was honored with an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and an Emmy Award. Parker was also the winner of the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress for the Broadway show Proof.
