Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of Winona Ryder gave her the name of her hometown. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jew. Ryder believes that her father was from an ethnically Jewish origin. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents moved her along with their children to Mendocino County California when Ryder reached seven. There they didn't have electricity. There was no television books were Ryder's only distraction to pass the time. Eventually, she was a voracious reader. At the age of 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986 and Ryder, then just 15 years old, was offered a role as a leading actress. Ryder was bullied in high school. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress would bring about change. However, it didn't take place. But she continued to pursue her dream. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big breakthrough. Ryder was able to continue her successful characters in numerous films. In 1993, she was awarded an Oscar Award to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
