Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor and actress. In her almost five-decade career, she has accumulated nearly 100 credits. Pleshette was born in New York and began her acting career on stage. Later, she made the gradual transition to film. The most popular of Pleshette's films include Rome Adventure, The Birds, Fate Is the Hunter and If it's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium. There was also a diverse variety of roles in TV and in television movies. She had four Emmy Awards nominations and was not only nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. Pleshette had been nominated two times, and received the Laurel Award 1963 for The Birds. Pleshette died in 2008, and she was later given an honorary Star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
