Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Tubia (Canadian actress) is famous for her role the role of a fantasy character on Freeform's series Shadowhunters and Venevision television series Cosita linda e Voltea to be enamored. Also, she is a skilled performer and model. A Montreal born native, she grew up in Texas and has been attracted to dancing. As a kid she has been taught to dance in various forms. When she was 15 she began competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous in 2008 as she appeared in the second season of the Univision beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she began acting when she played an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. She appeared in the 2015 action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film. Toubia was recognized for her performance in Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
